The transmission of the story of Don Quixote’s first part in the graphic novel Don Quixote by Rob Davis (2011)

In this article we’ll study the game of the transmission of the story in the graphic novel Don Quixote by Rob Davis (2011), which reformulates the Cervantes’ original according to the code of this sort of recreation. To this aim, considering the special interest of the treatment given to Don Quixote by Rob Davis, we’ll pay special attention to the narrative voices, the different units of the account and, particularly, the metafictional system of pseudo-authorship and pseudo-historicity, recreated using the special rhetorical licenses of the graphic novel.
